 How it Works

Step 1: Connect

Send me a quick email and we’ll set up a session time to discuss your content needs. This session will help me learn more about your business and content on a deeper level. You’ll also get a chance to ask me questions and get to know me.

Step 2: Discover

Send me a sample of the content you have so far to help determine the level and type of writing, editing, or proofreading your content requires. If you don’t have any samples yet, that’s OK, too. Once we know the direction for your content, you’ll choose the package that’s best for your content needs. We’ll determine deadlines, check-in points, and any other details unique to your project.

Step 3: Create

Once we’ve worked out the details, you can confidently put your content in my hands. I’ll get started transforming your unique content into the meaningful words that connect and engage your specific community and audience. Two revisions are included in my pricing: one revision to allow for additional input and suggestions for me to consider, and a second review for me to make any last revisions. I’ll deliver your final content files in PDF or Word format.

Specifics Explained

Generally, proofreading includes spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and emphasis.

Editing includes review of existing text to substantially improve the overall quality, including style, tone, and consistency, as well as proofreading, and formatting issues with font, style, and layout. For website content, I’ll check all links.

Copy writing includes writing (or re-writing) your message using engaging keywords and connections, as well as editing and proofreading.

Not all content is created equal, so I’m happy to work with you to customize any services to meet the needs of your unique project.
